BLM over reach challange

Post by socalgold » Sat May 18, 2019 1:23 pm

At least one area has decided to challenge BLM. Need to keep an eye on this as it will set a precedent we may be able to use in the future. Like it says we didn't vote any of them into their positions and yet they make laws (regulations) and they are shoved down our throats and we get fined or jailed and have 0% input into their making. Now this also applies to the USFS. Things could and probably make things interesting in the future. In my book this will apply to ALL government agencies, even F&G and water board. Interesting concept for future litigation?
Just my 2 cents.

Gold sources and suction dredging

:D We’re beginning to see the light on gold suction dredging, where the EPA and state water boards’ main concern is supposed to be: bringing pollutants into a river or the waters of the United States. They haven’t followed that premise because of the politics of California’s Governor Brown and his appointed anti-suction mining appointees not wanting any suction mining in the state of California. The feeling now with this administration is that the water board and the EPA should concentrate on pollution brought into a river. This has nothing to do with taking things out of a river and putting it right back in again. It’s as if you took your spoon dipped into a bowl of chili, pulled out some chili and put it right back in again. So we’ll see how far we get under that premise.
