Motor and pump wanted

Post by Jim_Alaska » Sat Sep 15, 2018 1:08 am

A friend of mine needs to find someone who would like to sell a motor and pump combined. he would like something in the 3-5 hp range and mentioned that he would consider a Briggs. He wants something he can put on a back pack
and haul in to remote places.

If you have such an animal you can contact me since he doesn't have a computer or phone.

Get any bigger than this and it starts getting heavy fast!

Thanks Harry, that looks like a real nice little unit. Kinda pricey though. I think he was looking for used so it might be cheaper. I'll sure tell him about it, so thanks for posting about it.

I have that one and well worth the money. Runs enough water for a LeTrap sluice and would run a small dredge too.

Yes Harry, I could tell from the specs that it would be a good unit. I did tell him about it and like I figured it is too pricey for him. He is looking for a used one that he can pick up for less money.

I have a 1.5" sampling dredge for sale if your friend is still looking. It has a Kawasaki engine, crash box sluice, all light weight and ready to dredge up the sample that everyone is looking for. I don't know how to send pics here but if your friend will contact me at my email, ignatious7491@gmail.com, I will send pics. I am also selling all of my gear including a 4" dredge, 2" high banker, several sluices from 36" to 72", a pump/air setup, I just sold my 49'er membership, 4007.

Thanks for the reply Ignatious. Prices will help sell your stuff. A lot of people think if there is no price it's because what is being sold is expensive.

I made this post for a friend back in September, so it is an old post. My friend what wanted the pump doesn't do computers, so since it has been so long I will have to try to find him again and let him know about your reply.

While it may be possible he would be interested in your dredge, he doesn't have much to spend and it might just be that the whole unit as a dredge may be too much money for him. But as I said, a price would help.

Pictures really help. There are instructions for posting pictures on the forum http://alaskagoldforum.x10host.com/phpb ... p?f=5&t=31
