Sound advice...play it cool, stay out of site...worse case, play dumb (I'm good at that).

Thanks a ton!

Theres a couple of us up this way who try to stay busy...
If its coffee and talking your looking for were meeting mar 2nd at elmers on Sandy at noon ..,. get there early and we ll tell ya what we know. Message me and ill give ya the details.
The Mollalla and Quartzville recreation areas are easy places to start and learn about panning and mining.
We spend most of our summers up Quartzville cause its close but we ll be heading to the Klamath this June for the outting, along w other trips in Ore. this summer.
I'd also take up mendoAu`s offer to help him move rocks down there too but i dont know if he likes good whiskey...

Edit: correcting date

"All "off limit" federal mining sites should be posted.....no sign, good to go."

Unless Oregon specifically requires a mining claim be posted, there is no federal requirement to post your claim.
So... no sign, you could be on someone's claim.
For your own protection, you should post your claim.
