On Friday, July 14, 2023, longtime moderator of these forums, avid gold miner and a damned good friend Jim Foley underwent quad-bypass surgery in Medford. News at this time is the operation went well but Jim has not woken up.
LET'S ALL PRAY FOR JIM'S SPEEDY AND SUCCESSFUL RECOVERY!

My wife and myself send our prayers for Jims successful recovery. Jim was my dredging partner and one hell of a good friend for many years.

UPDATE; July 26
Jim has not recovered from the coma. Family has decided to pull the plug as that is the way Jim would have wanted it. Jim suffered many strokes during surgery. Pray for him.
