In Memory of Montine Blevins
Nearly everyone associated with our program knew and loved Montine Blevins. She was the most helpful person we ever had at the counter and over the phone. Montine would go out of her way to help anyone who needed it. I am very saddened to announce that Montine Blevins has passed on from a long battl...

Re: Solicitor General brief to High Court!
Whoops; my bad; I have been corrected. This was the reply from the Oregon State Solicitor General. Whew; I was taking a heavy loss on that!

Perhaps the Trump Administration will come in on our side after all.

Re: Amicus Brief on behalf of Small-scale Miners Submitted to U.S. Supreme Court!
I just got this from our attorneys: "All – some very promising news: Today, the U.S. Supreme Court specifically requested a response from DEQ, after meeting in conference about the case. (Last month, DEQ actually waived its right to file a response to the petition, but the Supreme Court has now orde...

Amicus Brief on behalf of Small-scale Miners Submitted to U.S. Supreme Court!
The law firm of FISHERBROYLES has submitted an Amicus (Friend of the Court) Brief to the U.S. Supreme Court in favor of small-scale miners. My own opinion is that they did a great job in arguing why the matters in our case also affect many other industries; and it is in the strong national interest ...

Small-scale Miners Are Going to the U.S. Supreme Court Again!
ACTION ALERT: When I made the statement in last month’s newsletter that we would be making another attempt at having our situation heard in the U.S. Supreme Court, I did not know it would happen so soon. Who can stay in a fight for 15+ years? Only Americans that are determined to hold onto freedom! ...
