Been awhile since posting , problem is stuck in MN , made a tripe to a friend hardrock claim last June , with plans on another trip in August .
Placer is where I like to play , so this has motivated me to try to get out again ?

Looking to see what others are using .
In the 80s & 90s I bought topo. maps , and now looking to try GPS , how much detail ?
I remember fire roads lot of details , hopefully can get that ?

As long as I made it , I have seen a type of gold mat / catch that looks like white nylon that has a round cut bowls in rows .
Without having the correct term , having trouble locating source ?
Glad to see AMRA & Gold Prospectors getting together and a future dredging in CA .
